Back to School Needs for Children

The Baptist Women are collecting items needed for children in our local school. These supplies are for children who will attend the new Deerfield Elementary School. Please bring the items by next Sunday, August 1, 2010.


Back to School means the After School Program at Lakewood will be starting up soon. If you would like to be a part of this ministry to the families of our community please give your name to Buck or Annie as we prepare for the coming school year. Opportunities are available on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (one hour of instruction time). You can sign up for either day or both if you want a double blessing!

August 8, 2010 Sunday morning message by Bro. Larry Kirk. Covered dish dinner in Fellowship Hall following the morning worship service. Gospel concert by "Southern Salvation." Everyone invited.
